As all these cotton threads are Hand-Dyed, they are highly decorative.  Use them in full confidence to give beauty to your project with threads that never bleed! 
Valdani offers three weights of cotton thread (spools and cones):
60wt - recommended for:  Machine and Hand Sewing, Embroidery, Appliqué, Tatting. 
50wt - recommended for:  Machine Quilting (all levels, home and longarm), Stitching, Sewing. 
35wt - recommended for:  Machine Quilting (advanced, home and longarm), Hand Quilting, Stitching.

Please Note!!!  Valdani weights correspond to the US weights as follows:  
Valdani 50wt = 30wt US, Valdani 35wt = 24wt US, Valdani 60wt = 40wt US
